Are you tired of dealing with chronic pain, tension, or other health concerns? Look no further than Chinese Cupping Therapy. Our Registered Acupuncturists and traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor are highly trained in this ancient healing technique and dedicated to helping you achieve optimal health and well-being.
Chinese Cupping Therapy is a traditional healing method that has been used for thousands of years in China. It involves the use of warmed glass cups that are placed on the skin to create a suction effect. This suction helps to stimulate blood flow, release tight muscles, and alleviate pain and tension. Traditional “Fire Cupping” it is called will also enhance energy flow through the body and can improve the effects of an acupuncture treatment when combined together.
Here are some of the many benefits of Chinese Cupping Therapy:
“Cupping therapy has been a game changer for my chronic back pain. I’ve tried other treatments in the past, but this is the only one that has provided real relief. I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with similar issues.” – John
“I was hesitant to try cupping therapy but I’m glad I did! It’s helped me improve my flexibility and range of motion, I can tell a big difference after each session.” – Michaela
“I’ve been dealing with tension headaches for years and nothing seemed to work. After just a few sessions of cupping therapy, I’ve seen a noticeable decrease in the frequency and severity of my headaches. I highly recommend it as an alternative treatment.” – Sarah
At our clinic, we offer a variety of cupping therapy options, including traditional Chinese cupping, slide cupping and facial cupping. Your Acupuncturist will work with you to create a customized treatment plan that addresses your specific needs and goals.
To ensure you receive the full benefits of your cupping therapy session, allow the marks from the cup suction and stagnant Qi to fully dissipate before your next session. Stay warm, keep the area warm and draft free and do not expose the marks to direct sunlight for best results. If you have an event or do not want the marks (this is called “Sha” and is the increased flow of stagnant blood rising to the surface of the skin to dissipate toxins and cleanse the tissues of toxins) on your body ask your Acupuncturist or TCM Doctor to slide the cups and not let them sit.
Don’t miss out on the powerful benefits of Chinese Cupping Therapy.
